I’m Bryan Meadan — a developer, sociologist and educator bringing together technology, business experience and an understanding of how people work.
My experience spans Drupal and WordPress development, custom applications, AI, project management and team leadership. I founded Cybersteps in 1997 and work with clients all over the world. Climate crisis advocacy is another important part of my work.

I use AI-assisted development to support the work, with engineering judgment guiding the result. A generated answer or a working prototype still needs to be checked against real requirements.
I work with WordPress and WooCommerce, PHP, JavaScript and TypeScript, React and Next.js, APIs and databases. I can deliver a complete project or contribute as a freelance developer alongside your team.
